In this project, the students took an arbitrary number of images and projected them to a 3D cube. In the final project, the chosen images were of Bitcoin and Z cash (both cryptocurrencies) which were projected to a 3D Cube. For the fabrication, the students made a 3D cube from Perspex slices, where each slice has been cut with small rectangles – each representing a “point in the 3D cube”. The final result is a volume which visualizes a smooth change from Bitcoin to Zcash.
